Help ACES offer scholarships to students by giving to the ACES Education Fund.

DONATE TO THE ACES SCHOLARSHIP FUND

The ACES Education Fund awards six scholarships each year, plus the Richard S. Holden Fellowship. In addition to individual cash awards, these six scholarships also include financial aid to attend one of the two annual ACES conferences, in-person or virtual.

The Bill Walsh Scholarship
The Bill Walsh Scholarship is given in honor of the late editor, author, and ACES guiding spirit to a student who demonstrates excellence in the editing of news. The cash award is $3,500.

ACES Scholarships and Aubespin Scholar
ACES Scholarships are given to five students who excel in critical thinking about written materials in any field and aspire to a career involving editing. Four of the awards come with a $1,500 cash prize. One student is chosen to be the Aubespin Scholar, which comes with a $2,500 cash prize.

The Richard S. Holden Diversity Fellowship
The ACES Education Fund, in partnership with the Dow Jones News Fund, sponsors the Richard S. Holden Diversity Fellowship, given annually to promote diversity and inclusion by advancing early- and mid-career professionals in their work as editors and aspiring industry leaders.

Your donation helps the ACES Education Fund to remain self-sustaining and continue to grow and reach even more editing students and professionals.
